Elaine A. Boardman

Elaine A. Boardman, 88 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Mercy Hospital Walworth. She was born November 24, 1937, in Darlington, WI, the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Catherine (McGowan) McArdle. Elaine was united in marriage to Charles “Chuck” G. Boardman on April 24, 1964, in Elkhorn, WI. She enjoyed going out to lunch and shopping with her family and friends. Elaine was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. She was a strong and determined Irish woman. Elaine also enjoyed reading. She was loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Elaine is survived by her son, Bob Boardman, two daughters-in-law, Theresa Boardman and Tracey Boardman, five grandchildren: Nicole (Joe), Kaitlin (Brenden), Jesse (Brittney), Justine, Tristan, six great-grandchildren with two more on the way: Jackson, Nicholas, Westley, William, Oliver, and Autumn, sister-in-law, Marilyn McArdle, brother-in-law, James Boardman, dear friends, Dave and Donna McGee and Joan Ide, many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 47 years, Chuck, two sons, Richard and Timothy Boardman, and her six siblings: William “Bill”, Tom, Dick, Ed, Ina Mae “Teeny”, and Kay.

Funeral Service will be 12:00PM on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow services at Roselawn Memory Gardens.
