Elaine C. Kukuwich, 84, of Elkhorn passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, January 23, 2026. She was born March 27, 1941, in Menomonee Falls to the late Henry “Heine” and Elinor (Schmidt) Centgraf. She was united in marriage to the late Robert G. Kukuwich, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, November of 1970 at Washington Park Lutheran Church.

Elaine was the beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob) Kukuwich for over 50 years. Both were devoted to gardening, raising produce for the local farmers market, and enjoyed polka dancing. In 1991, she was one of the founding members of the Brookfield farmers’ market. She was an artist; passionate about her faith, homemaking, cooking, sewing, learning new ideas, and healthy living. Throughout her years, she was a mother, a professional model, mentor, avid reader, a Mary Kay consultant, and Young Living distributor. She deeply loved her family, friends, and church.

Elaine is survived by her dearest children, Jolene Kaczmarek (Keary Gallagher, significant other), Amy Kingsbury (Tony Rogers, significant other), Wendee (Lee Griffin) Kukuwich, and Traci (Tony) Tarnowski. Grandchildren: Ashley (Jim) Justen, Justin, Taylor, Anthony, and Autumn. Great-Grandchildren: Ethan, Aaron, and Owen. Sister of Judi (the late Don) Ruben and Henry (Lynn) Centgraf. She will be missed by her cat Marbles, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends who loved her dearly.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Robert.

A celebration of her life will be held at Briggs Road Evangelical Free Church, 4654 Briggs Rd., Elkhorn, WI 53121, on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m., followed by the service at 1 p.m. Haase-Lockwood & Associates are proud to serve the Kukuwich family.
