Elaine D. Tarczynski, 95, of Genoa City, WI., passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 22, 2026. Elaine was born in Chicago, IL., on June 2nd, 1930, to her parents Paul and Sophie (Krzyvewski) Trembay. She married her late husband Richard Tarczynski on November 20th, 1949, in Chicago.

Elaine loved very many things in her life, but none so more than her family. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, and great great grandma! Elaine was a supervisor and dedicated employee at Modern Abrasive for over 30 years. She loved to watch Nascar, and her favorite driver Jeff Gordon. In her quiet times you could find Elaine doing her crossword puzzles, and she was always ready for a good night of gambling.

Elaine is survived by her children; Bill (Cathy) Tarczynski, Paulette (Carl) Janssen, Jim (Ida) Tarczynski, and Deborah (Ben) Orbeck. Elaine is further survived by her 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Elaine is preceded in death by the love of her life Richard, her parents, and her sons Michael, and Richard.

Funeral services for Elaine will be on Monday, March 30th, 2026 at 5:00 P.M., at Haase-Lockwood Funeral Home, 620 Legion Drive, Twin Lakes, WI., 53181. A visitation will be held before the service from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service at the same location. Haase-Lockwood and Associates are proud to have served the Tarczynski family.
