Eleanor "Ellie" N. Bjorkman Anderson, 92 of Walworth, WI, and formerly Presque Isle, WI, entered her eternal life on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center. She was born December 1, 1929 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Elof and Edith (Wallen) Peterson.  Ellie graduated from National College of Education in Chicago and taught Kindergarten and First Grade at Wescott School in Northbrook, IL for over 20 years.  Ellie was united in marriage to James R. Bjorkman on December 26, 1953.  Jim preceded her in death on March 3, 1997. Ellie married Rodger D. Anderson on September 5, 1998.  Rodger preceded her in death on November 4, 2018.  Ellie had a deep faith throughout her life and was a member of various churches over the years.  In her younger days, she was a member of Moody Memorial Church in Chicago, IL, Glenview Evangelical Free Church, Living Hope in Winchester, WI and Bethel Baptist in Bradenton, FL.  She served her churches in various roles including leading Bible studies, Sunday school and vacation Bible school.  Ellie grew up spending her summer vacation in Presque Isle, WI.   In her later years, Jim and Ellie built their home in Presque Isle for retirement.  They enjoyed picking wild berries and making Jim and Ellie's Jams and Jellies.  Ellie was an excellent baker, known for her coffee cake.  Ellie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Ellie is survived by her three children: Sue (Jeff) Plath of Hebron, IL, Jean (Glenn) Graf of Elkhorn, WI and John (Sandy) Bjorkman of Harvard, IL, ten grandchildren; Jim (Donna), Bill (Larissa), Dan, Bryan (Tess), David, Andy, Anthony, Lisa, Daniel and Angie, twelve great-grandchildren; Cora, Jim, Wyatt, Sophie, McKenna, Grayson, Geneva, Bodie, Ray, Lila, Frank and Mona, her sister, Grace (John) Ballantyne of CA, many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Bjorkman, son, Rick Bjorkman and five siblings: Hazel, Melvin, Ethel, Helen and William.

Memorial Service will be 11:00AM on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Calvary Community Church, N2620 Harris Rd. Lake Geneva, WI, with Pastor Chuck Cervenka officiating.  Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:45AM until service time Saturday at the church. The memorial service will be livestreamed through the church's website at www.calvarycommunity.net/livestream . Inurnment later this year will be next to Jim at Presque Isle Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ellie's name may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
