Elsie F. Schoenbeck, 95, of Fairhaven Whitewater, WI formerly of Elkhorn, WI died Sunday February 21, 2016 at Rainbow Hospice Care Center Johnson Creek, WI.  She was born May 22, 1920 in the Town of Richmond, WI the daughter of the late Richard and Mabel (Barker) Gudeyon.  Elsie was united in marriage to Donald J. Schoenbeck in Whitewater, WI on November 21, 1942.  Don died May 20, 2001.  Elsie enjoyed playing piano, working in her flower beds, gardening and helping Don on the farm.  Over the past fourteen years Elsie has enjoyed her stay at Fairhaven being involved in all the activities, including singing in the choir and playing bingo.  She has been a member of the Millard Community Covenant Church of Millard since 1951.  Elsie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Janet (Ray) Hutton of Farmington, MN and Donna (Tom) Marshall of Whitewater, WI, four granddaughters; Patti (Jason) Tintes of Coon Rapids, MN, Debbie (Dennis) Cottrell of Woodbury, MN, Lori (Michael) Moore of West DesMoines, IA and Traci Bates of Madison, WI, nine great-grandchildren; Maddie, Noah, Jill, Ella, Ricky, Quintin, Liam, Beth and Tommy, two sister-in-laws; Gladys Gudeyon of Whitewater, WI and Sally Gudeyon of Janesville, WI and by a host of other relatives and friends.  Elsie was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Don, an infant daughter, three brothers, Harvey, Ralph and Leslie Gudeyon and one sister Margaret Schultz.  Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday February 25, 2016 at Millard Community Covenant Church N6713 County Road O Elkhorn, WI with Rev. Kristen Nelson officiating.  Burial will be at Richmond Cemetery in the Town of Richmond, WI.  Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 9:00 AM until time of service.  Memorials may be made in Elsie's name to: Millard Community Covenant Church or Fairhaven Supportive Living.
