Elwood P "Woody" Walmsley age 81 of Twin Lakes, WI died August 28, 2022, surrounded by his family.  He was born in Chicago, IL on October 12, 1940.   The son of the late Elwood and Dorothy (Stark) Walmsley.  On March 9, 1968, in Glen Ellyn, IL he was united in marriage to Jeanne Remitz.   Woody had an MBA from Georgia State University and spent his employment career in pharmaceutical sales and food ingredient / flavor divisions of several national and international flavor and fragrance companies. He also served in the United States Army for 34 years retiring as a full Colonel in 2000. After retirement he established a Woody World" in local real estate and was active in the St. John's Conference of St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Survived by his wife Jeanne.  Father to Elwood "Chip" Walmsley, Carey (Sangston "Sock") Woodruff and Brian Walmsley (Noelle Lem).  Grandfather to Braden, Devynn, Benjamin, Camrynn, William, and James.  Brother to Jack (the late Sandy) Walmsley and Judy (Irwin) Kash.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday September 7, 2022, at 11:00AM at St. John's Catholic Church 701 N Lake Ave.  Twin Lakes, WI.  Military Honors to follow at church.  Private committal.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 6, 2022, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 620 Legion Dr.  Twin Lakes, WI.
