Eugene T. Hoover, age 51, of San Marcos, Texas, died Tuesday February 23, 2016 at his home in San Marcos.

Eugene Thomas Hoover was born on July 7, 1964 in Burlington, WI, the son of the late Alvin and Barbara Prueher Hoover.  He lived in Genoa City, WI and Arkansas before moving to Texas several years ago.

Eugene was married to Joyce Hoover on August 15, 2006 and she preceded him in death in May of 2011.

Eugene worked as a roofer in the construction trades.

Eugene is survived by: 2 Children: Troy Franklin and Callie (James) Phillips of Arkansas.  Grandchildren: Jaela, Tyson and Issac Franklin, Jaryn and Rhiana Phillips. 4 sisters-Christine Prueher of Rice Lake, WI, Wanda Jackson of Belvidere, IL, Kimberly (Walter) Johnson of Belvidere, IL, and Robin (Brian) Fredrickson of Vine Grove, KY; 2 brothers-Michael Hoover of Lake Geneva, WI and Roger (Lori) Hoover of Milwaukee, WI.

He was preceded in death by: His parents; 1 brother-Keith(Sheri) Hoover.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00PM Saturday March 5, 2016 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory in Genoa City.  The Hoover Family will receive friends from 2:00PM until the time of services on Saturday at the Funeral Home.  Memorial remembrances may be made to the Hoover Family, % Haase-Lockwood & Assoc.
