Eugene Todd Ingersoll, 55, of Delavan, WI, went to live with the Lord on Monday, April 6, 2026. He was born April 8, 1970, to Eugene and Kathleen (Minette) Ingersoll. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Susan (Peters), on Jan. 23, 1993, at Calvary Community Church.
Todd invested himself deeply in his community. As a local business owner, he intentionally poured into the lives of all he encountered, fostering genuine friendships and leading a men’s Bible study among his peers. He served on the board at Inspiration Ministries, coached boys basketball at Delavan Christian School, and was joyfully involved with In His Wakes, a non-profit ministry. He enjoyed yardwork, golfing, and cheering for the Packers, and his iconic laugh always brightened the room.
The deepest roots of Todd’s life grew from his abiding love for his wife, his children and grandchildren, and Jesus Christ—a love that shaped the quiet faithfulness of his daily life. Todd began every day on his knees in prayer, thanking God for his countless blessings. At the core of his heart was a steadfast pursuit of Christ, reflected in his love for Susan and his family. The legacy Todd fostered in his wife and children is one of compassionate intentionality. He led them humbly. He protected them fiercely. He loved them unconditionally.
Todd is survived by his wife, Susan; his parents, Gene and Kathy; his siblings: Jeff (Elke) Ingersoll and Greg (Julia) Ingersoll; children: Joseph (Lauren) Ingersoll, Benjamin (Claudia) Ingersoll, Jonathan (Ana) Ingersoll; grandchildren: Adelaide, Evelyn, Rudy, Arthur, Eiley, Mabel, Mary, Jameson, one grandchild on the way; and a multitude of extended family. He was preceded in death by his son, Jacob Todd Ingersoll.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Calvary Community Church N2620 Harris Road, Lake Geneva, WI. Visitation will begin at 10 am with a service immediately following at 11:30 am.
