Obituary
Evelyn M. Bryzek age 86 of Lake Geneva, WI died Monday evening October 27, 2014 at Geneva Lake Manor in Lake Geneva.
The former Evelyn Marie Adams was born on June 18, 1928 in Berea, KY the daughter of the late William and Bessie Forsyth Adams. On December 17, 1976, Evelyn was united in marriage to Carl M. Bryzek. He preceded her in death on January 27, 1992. They lived in Paddock Lake, WI. for many years.
Evelyn attended the First United Methodist Church in Genoa City. She loved country music, doing ceramics, cooking, gardening, sewing and camping, fishing and hunting in Michigan. She enjoyed working on the farm, especially raising chickens and picking asparagus.
Evelyn is survived by: 6 children-Steve (Wendy) of Paddock Lake, WI, Joseph (Sharon) of Hartford, WI, William of Gwinn, Michigan, Frank of Silver Lake, WI, Michael of Anaconda, Montana and Brenda (Wray) Schmieg of Genoa City, WI; step son-Carl Byrzek, Jr. of Gwinn, MI; Best Friend and daughter in law-Marie Bryzek of Libertyville, IL; 8 grandchildren-Kassie, Karla, Joseph, Jr., Bethany, Tabitha, Carl, Jessica and Jacob; 1 gr. Grandchild-James.
Evelyn was preceded in death by 1 daughter-Mary; stepson-Bruce Bryzek; stepdaughter-Janice Jausch; 6 brothers-Wilbert, Delmar, Calvin, Arville, Walter and Ralph and 2 sisters-Dorothy and Sylvia.
The Bryzek family wishes to extend a heartful and eternal gratitude to the residents and staff of Geneva Lake Manor who are extended family to Evelyn for the friendship and excellent care they gave her. Also a thank you to the Aurora VNA Hospice.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1:30PM to 4:30PM with a service of remembrance at 2:00PM on Saturday November 15, 2014 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory in Genoa City.
