Fern E. Branfort, 101, of East Troy, WI, died peacefully Friday, June 16, 2017 at East Troy Manor. She was born August 8, 1915 in Troy, WI, the daughter of the late Matthew and Minnie (Wobshal) Cummings. Fern married Marshall Branfort in January of 1937 in Belvidere, IL.  She worked as an assembler for Oak Manufacturing of Elkhorn for over 15 years.  Fern enjoyed gardening, canning and housekeeping.  She loved shopping, especially at garage sales.

Fern is survived by two daughters-in-law, Sandra Branfort of East Troy and Jerita Branfort of Union Center, two sons-in-law, Michael Maciosek and Hugo Mike both of East Troy, fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall, two daughters Kathleen Maciosek and Linda Branfort, four sons; John, Francis, David and George Branfort, two sisters, Inez Sievers and Grace Annonson and two brothers, Wayne Cummings and Merl "Butch" Cummings.

Memorial Service will be 11:30AM on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory, 730 N Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI, with Pastor Gerald Petersen officiating.  Visitation will be 10:00AM until service time Friday at the funeral home.
