Obituary
Floyd J. Slater, age 77 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Golden Years Health Care Center in Walworth, WI. He was born on March 31, 1937 in Decater, IL. The son of Cyril Slater and Dorris Dickison. Floyd enjoyed farming, hunting, and fishing. He was busy everyday working on projects around the farm.
Floyd is survived by his four children; Julie Biddle of CA, Cindi Kemp of CA, Brian (Brenda) Slater of Elkhorn, WI, Renea Marston of MO, 8 grandchildren, two brothers, Tom (Ruth) Slater and James (Bernadine) Slater, one sister, Roberta Lovejoy, step-father, Junior Dickenson, and his long term companion of 28 years, Betty Alberth. He was preceded in passing by his parents, his brother, Dewaine Slater, and his step-brother, Jim Waller.
Memorial Service will be held 1:00pm on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Como Community Church. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until time of service at the church on Saturday.
