Frances P. Eddy, age 95, of Genoa City, WI, died Monday morning September 12, 2016, at her home.

The former Frances Pauline Kamholtz was born on November 22, 1920 in Genoa City, WI, the daughter of the late Arnold and Lila Hermance Kamholtz.  On November 15, 1947, Frances was united in marriage to Duane E. Eddy.  Duane preceded her in death on March 26, 2008.

Frances has been a lifelong resident of Genoa City.  She graduated from Genoa City High School in the class of 1938.  She formerly worked for Autolite in Woodstock, IL.  She was a member of the Genoa City United Methodist Church and the ladies organizations of the church.  She was a 70 year member of the Sponholtz-Deignan American Legion Post #183-Ladies Auxiliary.  She enjoyed gardening.

Frances is survived by: her children-Reita (Richard) Stanis of Northridge, CA, Ron (Dolores) Eddy of Lake Geneva, WI and Linda Sue Eddy of Genoa City, WI; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Kamholtz, ½ brother, Robert Kamholtz and a sister, Phyllis Regnier.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home in Genoa City with Pastor Lucinda Alwa officiating.  The Eddy Family will receive friends from 10:00AM until the time of services.  Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery.  Memorial remembrances may be made to the Aurora at Home Hospice, 103 N.
