Gale W. Simes, 93 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Aurora Summit Medical Center.  He was born May 16, 1927 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late Fred and Minnie (Redlund) Simes.  Gale served in the United States Army during World War II.  He was united in marriage to Dorothy A. Armstrong on October 6, 1951 in Whitewater, WI.  Gale was a member of the Briggs Road Evangelical Free Church of Elkhorn, WI.

Gale is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Dorothy, their four sons; Doug (Lynn) Simes of Elkhorn, WI, Derf Simes of FL, Scott Simes of Elkhorn, WI, and Mark (Kathy) Simes of Hayward, WI, five grandchildren; Kristin (Joe), Alicia (Ryan), Matt (Katie), Nick  (Kacy) and Kimberly (Dick), and five great-grandchildren; Peyton, Kinsley, Chase, Taylor and Molly.  He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Sylvia, Glenna, Lance and Virginia, his twin brother, Dale and daughter-in-law, Natalie Simes.
