Genevieve M. Jensen, age 84, of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at her home on June 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 19, 1941, in Burlington, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Spieker) May. She spent her early life in Burlington where she attended St. Mary's Catholic Schools. On September 21, 1963, she was united in marriage to John P. Jensen, and together they shared more than 62 years of love, faith, and devotion in Twin Lakes.

A faithful member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Twin Lakes for over 63 years, Genevieve lived a life grounded in faith, family, and service.  She also served as Treasurer of the Oak Ridge Subdivision Association for 15 years, dedicating her time and talents to her community.

Genevieve found great joy in camping adventures with her family. For the past 16 years, she and John spent their winters in Texas, enjoying camping, dancing, and creating cherished memories together. She loved cooking and baking for those she loved and enjoyed many bike rides with family.

Above all, Genevieve treasured time spent with her family. Whether cheering from the sidelines at sporting events, attending school activities, or simply gathering together, she was always there with encouragement, pride, and unwavering support. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, and she was undoubtedly their biggest cheerleader.

Genevieve cherished dancing to live Country Music with John, the love of her life. Their enduring partnership was a beautiful example of love, commitment, and companionship. She especially looked forward to luncheons with her sisters and cherished visits with her many nieces and nephews, whose presence always brought laughter and joy.

Genevieve worked for several years at Jay's Potato Chips in Silver Lake before joining Paul Swartz Nursery in Silver Lake, where she spent many years as a receptionist and administrative assistant until her retirement.

Genevieve is survived by her beloved husband, John; her children, Keith (Lori) Jensen, Roy (Kimberly) Jensen, Craig Jensen (Nila Donner), and Wendy (Dennis) Hottenstein; her grandchildren, McKenna (Zach) Nemeth, Kaylin (Michael) Toll, Morgan (Kyle) Bowers, Lucas (Meredith) Jensen, Brooke Jensen, Robert Jensen, Christian (Morgan) Jensen, Ethan Jensen, Drew Hottenstein (Cora Storkson) and Derek Hottenstein; her great-grandchildren, Alden Toll and Raena Nemeth.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Helen (Norbert) Poepping, Bernice (Robert) Mitchell, Germaine (Leo) Henningfield and Adrian (Lynn) May.
