George E Hildebrandt age 89 of Delavan, WI died November 4, 2023.  He was born on July 6, 1934, in Evanston, IL.  The son of the late George and Alice (Burmeister) Hildebrandt.

He moved from Chicago in 1946 to Twin Lakes, WI. He attended Cottage School and graduated from Wilmot High School in 1952.  He then went on to receive his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater in 1956.

He served in the Army Signal Corp from 1956-1958.  On December 27, 1957, he was united in marriage to Judith Schnurr.  He owned Hildebrandt's Store in Twin Lakes from 1960-1989, he then went to work for KM Appliance until 2003.

Survived by his wife Judith.  Father to Thomas (Eva) Hildebrandt and Richard (Dawn) Hildebrandt.  Grandfather to Sara Hildebrandt, Laura (Nick) Nienas, Brian Hildebrandt, Max Hildebrandt, Abby Hildebrandt, and step grandchild Derek Martin.  Great Grandfather to George, Nicole, and Addilyn.  He was preceded in death by his son Andrew Hildebrandt and sister Jean Krueger.
