George A. Klein, age 96, died December 15, 2021.  He was born in Chicago, IL on June 22, 1925.  The son of the late Max and Anna (Kambeden) Klein.  He was united in marriage to Justine.   He served in the United States Navy during World War II.  During his life he enjoyed camping and traveling.  He was an avid artist and was a great painter.  George was a Civil War buff and would read any book he could on the Civil War.

Survived by his wife Justine.  Father to Georgette Klein and John (Karen) Klein.  Stepfather to Danny Kapustka.   Grandfather to Nick Klein, Peter (Amy) Klein, Danielle Klein and Christopher Klein.  Great Grandfather to Jude.  Brother to Al Klein.  He was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Dorothy Krull; son, Jim Klein; and sister Helen Kranz.

A memorial service will be held on December 30, 2021 at 7:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 620 Legion Dr.  Twin Lakes, WI.  Visitation will be held from 4:00PM until time of services.  Online condolences Haaselockwoodfhs.com.
