Obituary

George E. Schultz age 83 of Bassett, WI died Friday morning April 18, 2014 at the Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington.
George Eugene Schultz was born on February 22, 1931 in the Town of Randall, WI the son of the late Howard and Elsie L. Richter Schultz. On March 7, 1953 at Peace Ev. Lutheran Church in Wilmot, WI, George was united in marriage to Lois Jean Woods. He has been a lifelong resident of the Town of Randall. He graduated from Wilmot High School in 1948.
George farmed on the family farm in Bassett, then went to work for the Kenosha County Highway Dept. for 26 years. He also worked for 10 years at the Twin Lakes Garage. He was a former member of Peace Ev. Lutheran Church in Wilmot and most recently of Hope Lutheran Church in Twin Lakes.
George's hobbies were going to stock car races, watching all sports, yard work and collecting cars.
George is survived by: His wife-Lois; 1 son-Donald (Sue) Schultz of Burlington, WI; 3 grandchildren-Heidi, Erin and Kari and 3 great grandchildren-Makenna, Sean and Gracelyn.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30PM Tuesday April 22, 2014 at Hope Lutheran Church., 876 Lance Dr. Twin Lakes, WI with Pastor Joshua Scheil officiating. The Schultz Family will receive friends from 5:00PM until the time of services at the church. Memorial remembrances may be made to Hope Lutheran Church, 876 Lance Dr. Twin Lakes, WI 53181 or the Twin Lakes Rescue Squad, 236 E. Main St. Twin Lakes, WI. 53181.
