George J. Slouka: 75, of Elkhorn, WI died unexpectedly Tuesday February 1, 2022 at his home.  George was born March 6, 1946 in Chicago, IL.  He was the son of the late John and Beatrice (Manak) Slouka.  George served with the US Marines during Vietnam.  George was united in marriage to Penny A. Cline on December 24, 2008 at Community Church of Elkhorn.  George worked in construction all of his working years and was a real estate investor.  He enjoyed the outdoors and watching wildlife, he was a very caring and faithful man.  He is survived by his wife Penny and his children: Sarah (Vernon) Rickabaugh of Genoa City, WI and Aimee (Kevin) Tabura of Kauai, HI, seven grandchildren: Hunter, Noah and Makaela Rickabaugh, Azia, Keahi, Makena and Micah Tabura.  He was preceded in death by his brother Raymond and his aunt Josephine Meyer.  Visitation will be 9:30 am to 11:00 am followed by a funeral service with military honors at 11:00 am Monday February 7, 2022 at Briggs Road Evangelical Free Church.  Burial will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery Galena, IL.  On-line guestbook is at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
