Gerald W. Nyden Sr., 69 of East Troy, WI, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Angel's Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, WI.  He was born September 27, 1953 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Edwin and Violet (Allen) Nyden.  Gerald was united in marriage to Kim Michaels on March 31, 1973 in Round Lake, IL.   He worked as an over the road truck driver throughout his life.  Gerald was an avid Chicago Bears fan.  He enjoyed to be outside fishing regardless of the season and to prepare his catches for family meals.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Kim, their two children: Amber (Scott)  Halvorson of Lake Geneva, WI and Gerald (Danielle) Nyden Jr. of Fox Lake, IL, three grandchildren: Robert, Breanna and Samantha, and his three siblings: Edwin Jr, Patrick and Sharon. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ray Nyden.
