Geraldine "Gerri" A. Dilloo, age 98, of Genoa City, WI, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. She was born on August 24, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of George & Fern Rodrian. In her early life, she attended many grammar schools in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Nash Grammar school in 1941 and graduated from Austin High School in 1945. She was a member of both the High school concert Orchestra as a flute player as well as the High school football band for Football.
She was united in marriage to Walter "Wally" R. Dilloo on June 28, 1944 in Chicago, IL. They then moved to Pell Lake, WI, in 1949. During her later years, she wore many hats. Gerri loved serving her community and spending time with her family. She was a Licensed Foster parent to four foster Children. She enjoyed staying active in her community and was a member of the American Legion marching band where she played drums. She was in a dance group at the Civic Opera House in Chicago, IL, served as Clerk of the Star Center School Board, served on the steering committee for the formation of the Walworth County School Board Association, was treasurer of the Star Center Mothers Club, was Chairman of the March of Dimes and Chairman of the Lake Geneva, Pell Lake, Genoa City American Red Cross Chapter. She was also an American Red Cross Home Nursing Instructor, past President of the Bloomfield V.F.W, and past worthy matron of the O.E.S. She worked for Citizens Bank of Genoa City, State Bank of Elkhorn, First Wisconsin Bank of Williams Bay and was a retiree of the U.S. Bank. Up until recently Gerri was very involved as a board member of the Bloomfield Police Commission, board member of the Bloomfield/ Genoa City Fire & Rescue Commission and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pell Lake, WI. She was one of the first Sunday School teachers at the original location of the church on Juneau Rd. She was a volunteer for the Share program at Trinity Church and an original co-hostess of the Recycled-Teen-Agers group for the past 10 years.
She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Hoxie; six grandchildren, Erick (Kim) Olson, Lisa Olson, Samantha (Zachary Osborne), Callista, Cassandra and Collin Hoxie; and six great grandchildren, Gavin Winkler, Jacob and Brookly Olson, Anna, Samuel and Benjamin Osborne.
She is preceded in death by her son, Roger in January 1959; husband, Walter in October 1972, her daughter, Sharon Olson in August 2024, her son Mark R Dilloo in December 2024 and her dear friend Paul Gill.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, W775 Geranium Rd., Genoa City, WI, 53128 at 12:00PM.
