Gregory (Greg) John Lazzaroni age 59 of Delavan, WI died unexpectedly on Saturday April 16, 2016.  Greg was born on March 9, 1957, son of the late Vincent and Virginia Lazzaroni.  Greg was married to his best friend and grade school sweetheart Mary Liz on August 27, 1977 at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church of Lake Geneva, WI.  Greg was a partner in the family construction business, Lazzaroni Builders, Inc. for many years.  He loved spending time with nature especially, bow hunting and fishing.  He was an avid Wisconsin Sports team fan, particularly rooted for the Green Bay Packers and Marquette Basketball.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.  His grand children were the light of his life.  He spent his days on earth offering selflessness and unconditional kindness towards anyone he met.  Greg is preceded in death by his parents; Vincent and Virginia, father and mother-in-law Gerald SR and Margaret Shanley, and a niece; Sarah Wolf.  Greg is survived by his wife; Mary Liz; children; Paul (Carmen) Lazzaroni, and Rebecca (Bryan) Shaw; siblings; Vince (Nancy) Lazzaroni, Christine Jordan, Frank (Janet) Lazzaroni, Maria (Tim) Starck, Lisa Lazzaroni; and Mark (Jacqui) Lazzaroni; seven grandchildren; Carter, Bella, Jac, Jaxson, Eliza, Brennan, and Eloise; and 15 nieces and nephews.  A Funeral Mass will take place for Greg at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 148 W. Main Street Lake Geneva, WI 53147 on Friday April 22, 2016 at 3:00PM Officiated by Father Jim Schuerman.  Visitation will be held at church from 11:00AM until the time of service at 3:00PM.  Greg will be laid to rest at St. Francis De Sales Cemetery immediately following the Mass.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made out to Covenant Harbor Youth Camp or Rawhide Ranch in Greg's name.

Following the services Gregs family with host a Celebration of Life at the Lazzaroni Home, 5023 Theatre Road Delavan, WI 53115; all are welcome to attend. Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Elkhorn, WI is assisting the family.
