Dear Greg, we will miss your kindness, goodness and graciousness.  Your smile and laughter will always be with us.

Gregory James Moore, 56 of Carbondale, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.  Greg was born January 11, 1962 at St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Dennis and Nancy (Nee) Moore.

Greg graduated from New Berlin High West in 1980. Greg's traumatic brain injury causing short term memory loss at age 20 forced Greg to live in the moment, enjoying every person he met. Playing pool or cards, going for a walk, or chatting were Greg's happy moments. Now Greg is free with the Angels.

Greg is survived by his loving father, Dennis (Kathy) Moore of Elkhorn, WI, two sisters: Barbara (Patricia Skibinski) Moore of Wauwatosa, WI and Karen Frohwirth, of Sussex, WI, special nephew, James Frohwirth, three step-siblings: Kelly (Sandra Sanchez) Truesdale, Kris (Denny) Mohr and Eric (Cheryl) Truesdale all of Elkhorn, WI, dear friends and extended family.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy and grandparents, Jim and Ruth Nee and George and Mary Moore.

Special thank you to the staff at NeuroRestorative in Carbondale, IL where Greg resided for over 30 years.

Memorial Mass will be 2:00PM on Wednesday, March 28, 2017 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 107 W. Walworth St. Elkhorn, with Fr. Oriol Regales officiating. Visitation will be 1:00PM until service time Wednesday at Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Greg's name to VIP Services, 811 E Geneva St. Elkhorn, WI 53121.  Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.  Arrangements for Moore Family were made by Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Elkhorn.
