Harry R. Falberg age 93 of Lake Geneva, WI passed away on Monday evening September 15, 2025 at Village Glen Memory Care of Geneva Crossing.

Harry was born on July 20, 1932 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Harry and Helen Nielsen Falberg.  He served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force from April 17, 1952 until discharge on April 16, 1956.  He earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.

Harry was united in marriage to Marilyn Kennedy in Chicago, IL on April 12, 1958.  She preceded him in death on April 24, 2002.  He lived in Chicago, IL, Cary, and Genoa City, WI before moving to Lake Geneva, WI.

Harry worked as Art Director for Cahners Publishing Company, formerly Technical Publishing in Barrington, IL from 1960 until 1991.

Harry enjoyed traveling, boating on Lake Geneva, fishing, golfing and artwork painting, especially cartoons.  When he was able, Harry enjoyed walking in Lake Geneva and enjoying the lake.

Harry is survived by: 2 daughters-Nanette J. (Bruce) Haase of Twin Lakes, WI/Pinellas Park, FL and Barbara (Steve) Shippee of Pinellas Park, FL; 7 grandchildren-Emma Shippee, Royce Shippee, Joseph Cychner, Thomas Cychner, Andrew (Bridget) Cychner, Andrew (Suzie) Haase and Katy Haase; 6 great grandchildren- Bentlie, Hunter, Kolt, Sean, Evan, Emily; brother in law Karl Krause of Lexington, KY.

Harry was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn, daughter Erika Cychner; brothers Donald and Richard; a sister Nancy Krause.

Harry's family extends their deepest gratitude to Vickie Ranker and her Aurora at Home Hospice Team and staff at Arbor Village/ Village Glen where he was a resident for 10 years.

A Memorial  Service will be held at 1PM Sunday September 21, 2025 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 113 Freeman St.  Genoa City, WI .  Memorial Remembrances may be made in Harry's Name to Arbor Village/Village Glen, 201 Townline Rd. Lake Geneva, WI 53147.  The Haase-Lockwood and Assoc. Funeral Home of Genoa City is honored to serve the Falberg Family.
