Hugo "Junior" Rueckheim, age 82, of Lake Geneva, WI, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025. Son of Hugo Sr. and Virginia (Hiner) Rueckheim, Junior was born on June 29, 1942, in Ontario, WI. Ever devoted to his family, Junior left school at a young age to help work on the family farm after his dad became ill, and continued farming for many years. He also worked for Otto Jacobs, and later for VIP Services in Elkhorn, from which he retired. He enjoyed attending the Walworth County Fair and Harvard Milk Day with his loved ones every year. Junior also liked watching old Western movies, was an avid UNO player, and loved to tinker with puzzles and model cars. Above all else, Junior's two greatest loves in life were family and food.

Junior is survived by cousins Joy (Gilberto) Hernandez, Jacob, Justin, Alex, Amelia, Lisa, Danny, Nicholas, and Christopher. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Beverly.

A short graveside service will take place on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 12:00PM at Bloomfield Cemetery. Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home of Genoa City is honored to serve Junior and his family.
