Ila Mae Jacobs: 85, of Mountain View, MO formerly of Lake Geneva, WI died Sunday October 12, 2014 at Mercy Hospital Springfield, MO. She was born March 24, 1929 in Pittsville, WI. She was the daughter of the late Herman and Bertha (Haskie) Kreitlow. Ila Mae was united in marriage to William L. Jacobs on September 8, 1948 in Pittsville, WI. Over the years she worked at Walworth County Hospital, Oak Mfg of Elkhorn and Torance Company of Lake Geneva, WI, She and Bill owned and operated the Cardinal Cabins Motel of Lake Geneva, WI for over 14 years. Ila Mae enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bill, three children; Mike Jacobs and Louise (Patrick) Ohlrich both of Park Falls, WI and Leslie Jacobs of Jackson, WY, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Ila Mae is preceded in death by her parents and one sister Beverly Humphrey. Funeral service will be 7:00 PM Thursday October 16, 2014 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI with Rev. Dr. Scott McLeod officiating. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens in the Town of Delavan, WI.
