Irene D. Bathery age 95 of Silver Lake, WI died Sunday morning February 15, 2015 at the Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, WI.
Irene Dorothy Bathery was born on January 24, 1920 in Ponchatoula, Louisiana the daughter of the late Robert Lampon and Mary Magdaline Hood Bathery. Irene lived in Chicago, IL until moving to Silver Lake in 1977. She owned and operated Irene's Beauty Salon in Chicago for over 40 years.
Irene was a member of the Silver Lake Rescue Squad Auxiliary.
Irene is survived by: 1 son-Robert J. Bathery, Sr. of Silver Lake, WI; daughter in law-Leslie Bathery of Fox Lake, IL; 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 3 sisters-Louise Chan, Eleanore Minneci and Thelma Fank; and 1 brother-Rexford.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00PM Saturday February 21, 2015 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory in Twin Lakes. The Bathery Family will receive friends from 12:00PM until the time of services at the Funeral Home. Memorial remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 620 S. 76th St. Milwaukee, WI 53214.
