Irene Dorothy Mailey

Irene D. Mailey age 95, of Worth IL, died peacefully on Thursday September 17, 2026, at Delavan Heath Services, Delevan WI. Irene was born on July 10, 1931; daughter of the late Matt Blaz Krilich and Helen Miljac. Irene was an amazing woman to all those around her being a source of strength, always with grace and kindness. She enjoyed taking care of her family, as well as the craft of sewing, an avid birdwatcher and in her later years, watching the Chicago Cubs.

Irene is survived by her children; Susan (Mark) Weseman, Linda (Bruce) Harring, Julie (Chris) Finn; and grandchildren; Samantha, Megan, CJ, and Ryan; and great grandchildren: Rocco, Zahra, Evelyn and Jackson. She is preceded in death by her husband, John F. Mailey Jr. (Freddie); her parents; and siblings; Sadie Duich, Ann Fortino, and Edward Krilich.

Irene’s wishes were to keep services simple and her family will be honoring her wishes by gathering in her honor privately.
