Irene M. Richter, age 66, of the Village of Bloomfield, WI, (Pell Lake) died Friday morning December 23, 2016 at her home.

The former Irene Margaret Zhe was born on September 19, 1950 in Mondovi, WI, the daughter of the late Leonard and Margaret Watenphul Zhe.  Irene lived in Genoa City before moving to Pell Lake over 40 years ago.

Irene did sewing and factory work for the Monarch McLaren Ltd. In Elkhorn, WI.  Irene's hobbies were her family and gambling.

Irene is survived by: 1 daughter, Amanda (Bruce) Roman of Clinton, WI; 1 sister, Lucy Gronke of Walworth, WI and 1 brother,  Kenny Zhe of Lake Geneva, WI.

Irene was preceded in death by a brother, Alvin Zhe.

There will be a gathering of relatives and friends will be held from 5:00PM until the services at 7:00PM Friday December 30, 2016 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory, 113 Freeman St. Genoa City, WI.   Memorial remembrances in Irene's name may be made to the Lakeland Animal Shelter, 3551 Hy 67, Delavan, WI 53115.
