Irene F. Stern, 95, of Elkhorn, WI, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Alden Terrace in McHenry, IL.  She was born July 6, 1921 in Cicero, IL, the daughter of the late, Stephen and Anna (Palucz) Tomaszewski.  Irene married Wallace Stern on November 17, 1951. Together, they owned and operated East Side Repair for 20 years.  Wallace preceded in death in June of 1991.  She was a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Parish in Cicero, IL.

Irene is survived by her son, Michael (Veronica) Stern of Elkhorn, WI and granddaughter, Stephanie Stern.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Wallace.

Funeral service will be 4:00 PM on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI with Father Oriol Regales officiating.
