Elkhorn: Iris J. Brellenthin; 82 of Elkhorn, WI died Friday June 20, 2014 at Holton Manor Nursing Home Elkhorn, WI surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 11, 1931 in Michigan. She attended and graduated from Alverno College with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. She was united in marriage to Leonard W. "Link" Brellenthin from 1951 to 1966. Iris worked for over 30 years as a registered nurse working as the Director of St. Mary's Nursing Home, Roseville Care Center, Jewish Vocational Services and Johnson Controls retiring in 1997. After retiring she moved to Las Vegas, NV. She enjoyed her family and did a great deal of volunteering for PBS both in Milwaukee, WI and Las Vegas, NV. Iris is survived by her four children; Lee (Susan Paredes) Brellenthin of Grand Marsh, WI, Terry (Eric) Gefvert, Dale (Calli) Brellenthin and Susan (Stan) Skala all of Elkhorn, WI. Fourteen grandchildren; Brad, Karen, Mark, Melissa, Nicole, Ryan, Cyndi, Will, Christopher, Nathan, Emily, Tim, Jacob and Tracy. Thirteen great-grandchildren: Jarek, Maci, Ashton, Blake, Marli, Audrey, Drew, Pyper, Marshall, Adria, Audrey, Hayden and Fynnley. Iris was preceded in death by her sister Dawn Jones.
