Obituary

Islamarie Schwabe; 85, of Elkhorn, WI died Friday June 10, 2016 at Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, WI.  She was born May 26, 1931 in Iola Wisconsin the daughter of the late Lawrence and Frances (Lee) Austreng.  She was married to Richard Carl Schwabe for over 48 years.  During her working career she worked for Hevi-Duty of Lake Geneva, WI and Walworth Industries of Elkhorn, WI and in her later years was a greeter at Wal-Mart in Delavan, WI.  She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, but her greatest joy was her family.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother who will be deeply missed.  She is survived by her five children; Michael Schwabe of Elkhorn, WI, Gerri (Larry) Sontag of Winneconne, WI, David (Vicki) Schwabe of Beloit, WI, Melvin Schwabe of Elkhorn, WI and Marie (Gary) Martynicuk of Baraboo, WI, Seventeen grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, one sister; Hazel Morrison of Melbourne, FL and by a host of other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara, a son Larry, a sister, June and a brother, Norton.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday June 17, 2016 at Millard Community Covenant Church N6713 County Road O Elkhorn, WI with Rev. Kristen Nelson officiating.  Burial will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in the Town of Delavan, WI.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI and at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service.  On-line guestbook is at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
