Jaime Rivera

Jaime Rivera, age 95, of Twin Lakes, WI and formerly of Chicago, IL, died July 18, 2026. He was born in Manati, Puerto Rico on February 22, 1931.  The son of the late Pedro and Gregoria (Ocasio) Rivera.  

Jaime, affectionately known as "Spanish Grandpa" to his Great Grandchildren, took great pride in his family. He loved to joke and tell stories about his life growing up.  He was an avid gum chewer and made sure to always have some on hand to share. In his early years, he enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He loved sitting and listening to his favorite musicians, Los Ponchos and Felipe Rodriquez.  He spent some time learning to box and he was a passionate dominoes player. 

He was preceded in death by his first wife Felicita Rivera.  He is survived by his wife Milagros Rivera.  He was a loving Father to Virginia (Brad) Hammersmith, the late James Rivera, Nancy (Joe) Malave, Dominga (Ray) Valentine, the late Laura (Ray) Garcia, the late Miguel Delgado, Michelle Young, Cealia Castillo, Alveto Rivera and Eseban Morales.  He was the proud grandfather to 12 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.  He was a loving Brother to the late Juan Rivera, the late Franco Rivera, the late Flora Rivera, the late Eldemiro Rivera, Catin Rivera, Lydia Rivera and the late Luis Rivera.  

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00PM on Thursday July 23, 2026 at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 620 Legion Dr., Twin Lakes, WI.  Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the time of services at the funeral home.  Cemetery services will be held on Thursday July 23, 2026 at 2:30PM at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles, IL.  The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home of Twin Lakes, WI is honored to serve the Rivera family.
