James "Jim" E. Bedwell, 90 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Mercy Walworth Hospital. He was born December 25, 1926 in Dayton, OH, the son of the late Joseph and Leon Bedwell. Jim served in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Mildred "Millie" Coleman on November 24, 1947. Jim spent his career as a design engineer with the National Cash Register in Dayton, Ohio and Procter and Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Jim enjoyed photography and camping. He was a recreational pilot and loved flying. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Millie, four daughters; Charlotte (Phil) Lambert, Patricia (Michael) Hale, Beverly (Michael) Spreng and Dawn Bedwell, nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joseph "Bugs" Bedwell. Private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
