James "Jim" E. Mowery, age 90 of Delavan, WI, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Mercy Walworth Medical Center in Lake Geneva, WI.  He was born on November 22, 1925 in Owen, WI the son of Ernest and Anna Mowery.  Jim was married to Ruth Henkel on September 8, 1951. Ruth preceded in death on May 5, 1975.  He was later married to Marabelle Thaldorf on September 8, 1990.  Marabelle preceded in death on January 25, 2015.  He served in the United States Army during World War II.  Jim was member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 95 in Delavan, WI.   He enjoyed wood working and gardening.  Jim volunteered at the food bank and meals on wheels.

Jim is survived by his four children; Bruce (Debbie) Mowery, Alan (Diane) Mowery, Paul (Terri) Mowery and Amy (Michael) Beauchemin, three step-children; Brian (Lisa Anderson) Thaldorf, Kimberly (Mark ) Schroeder and Holly (Craig) LaPlante, 13 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth, Marabelle, and sister, Martha (Linwood) Harris.

Funeral Services will be 12:00PM (Noon) on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 415 Devendorf St Elkhorn, WI, with Pastor David Rau officiating.  Visitation will be 10:00AM until service time Saturday at church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Elkhorn, WI or to Disabled Veterans of America.  Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the Mowery Family.  Online Guest Book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
