James "Jim" F. Burdette age 60 of Deming, New Mexico died August 29, 2025 after a lifetime of addiction and mental health. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 7, 1964. The son of Headlee and Susan (Broaddus) Burdette.
Jim loved to take walks and collect rocks. He was known for reading Encyclopedias and could answer random questions with the correct information. He had a fine taste in food and was always willing to try new food items. He was known to frequent pawn stores and collect crosses. He always liked his travels to Florida. In his early years if Bonanza was on the TV he was tuned in. Jim had a soft spot in his heart for animals and liked to help out at kennels training dogs.
Survived by is five daughters: Nicole Burdette (Mike), Dani Krien (Kyle), Carlyn Burdette, Rebecca McIntyre (Daniel) and Alexis Johnson. 10 Grandchildren. Further survived by his parents Headlee and Susan Burdette, Brother Lee Burdette and his dog Sammie. He was preceded in death by his brother Jeff Burdette.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday September 6, 2025 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI. 53181.
