James F. Fortman 70 of Williams Bay died on October 2, 2021 at Williams Bay Health Services.  Jim was born on July 17, 1951, son of the late Frederick and Marilyn (Jacobsen) Fortman.  Jim was a 1969 Graduate of James B. Conant High School of Hoffman Estates, IL.  Jim became a computer technician after his college years.  He spent many years living in Germany and Switzerland; he loved cultural foods, cookouts, skiing and windsurfing.  He also was able to speak fluently in a handful of different languages.  Jim is preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his daughter; Nicole; siblings; Gayle Fortman, Richard (Fawn) Fortman, Fred (Lynne) Fortman, Brian Fortman, Janis Clery; many nieces and nephews, and former spouse, Joni.  A Memorial Service on Saturday July 16, 2022 at 11AM at the Monte Carlo Room 720 N. Wisconsin Street.  Visitation will be held before the service starting at 10AM.  Memorials may be made in Jim's name to the Twin Oaks Homeless Shelter W9665 US-14 Darien, WI 53114.
