IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James Joseph
Mcnulty
August 31, 1956 – September 1, 2025
James Joseph "Jimmy Joe" McNulty age 69 of Elkhorn, WI died at home on September 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. James was born in Chicago, IL on August 31, 1956; son of the late James M. and Constance K. (Karas) McNulty. As a freshman in high school, James and his family moved from Chicago to Twin Lakes, WI. Although he loved this area of the state, he left a bit of his heart back in Chicago where he was born. James married his wife Mary at St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Elkhorn on June 24, 1995. James was a devout Christian and was very faithful. Over the years he always attended church on Sunday's, and he always made sure to bring items into the church's food collections for the local pantries. On top of that, he also gave blood whenever he could at the local blood drives; he found it important to give if he could. A skilled driver, he had many years behind the wheel of a semi-truck delivering goods for Goodyear, and other food companies such as Kroger and Roundy's. James drove trucks for over 30 years. When James wasn't driving, you could find him in a pool hall or cheering on his favorite sports teams. He played pool in leagues for many years at Romine's pool hall in Milwaukee. He also had great appreciation for his favorite sports teams, such as Notre Dame, the Bears, the White Sox, and the Blackhawks; especially since he played hockey himself when he was younger. James was a jokester and always found a way to bring laughter into a room. He had a deep admiration for golden retrievers and loved all of the family dogs they had over the years. He deeply loved his family and grandchildren, especially his Hailey.
James is survived by his wife; Mary; sons; Jeffrey Moore, Christopher (Lourdes Torres) Moore; grandchildren; Hailey Moore, Natalia Moore, Lucas Moore, Melanie Juette; brother; Mike (Amy) McNulty; half siblings; Jay (Gia) McNulty, Cathy (Conrad) Sheehan; uncle Jack McNulty; aunt; Mary Jane McNulty; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents who helped raise him; James and Kathleen; siblings; Mary Ann McNulty, Thomas B. McNulty; aunt; Sheila McNulty; and uncle; Tom McNulty.
