James J. Melson age 69 of Bloomfield, WI, (Pell Lake) died Monday afternoon July 28, 2014 at his home.
James John Melson was born on October 14, 1944 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late John and Dolores Wisinski Melson. James formerly worked in shipping and receiving for Yunker Industries in Lake Geneva. He lived in Lyons, WI before moving to Pell Lake a year ago. He enjoyed bowling and fishing.
James is survived by: 6 children-John (Tracey Woodell) Melson of Pell Lake, WI, Wendy Melson of Lyons, WI, Cari (Terry) Carro of Delavan, WI, Monique Melson of Mesa, AZ, Jamie Melson of Wausau, WI and Rhiannon (Ryan) Kahmann of Grafton, WI; 12 grandchildren-Travis Schaefer, Kristy Koenen, Nicole Koenen, Mark Koenen, Jr., Courtney Carro, Amanda Carro, Caitlin Carro, Arlis Potter (Melson), Alexandria Galarza, Nathaniel Kahmann, Zach Kahmann and Lily Kahmann; 2 gr. Grandchildren-Isaac Wells and Noah Conda; 1 brother-Joseph Melson of Pell Lake, WI; 1 sister in law-Kay Melson of Pell Lake, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother-Jerry Melson.
A Memorial gathering will be held on Friday August 1, 2014 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory in Genoa City where there will be a short service at 7:00PM.
