It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of James "Jimmy" Dowling Jr., 44. Jimmy was a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend whose generous spirit touched the lives of everyone he met.

He was born on December 7, 1979. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents James Dowling Senior, Beverly (Workman) Dowling, and his grandparents. He is survived by his devoted wife of 25 years, Kristy, and his sister, Robyn Frieders (Dowling), as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

For 16 years, Jimmy worked for the Union Pacific Railroad, where he was known for his dedication, work ethic, and reliability. Outside of work, he was a beloved member of his community, always willing to lend a hand and help those in need, never expecting anything in return. His heart was as big as his smile, and his kindness knew no bounds.

Jimmy's selfless nature and love for others will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a man of action and integrity, and his memory will live on in the many lives he touched. His legacy of kindness and compassion will remain a guiding light for all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of Jimmy's life will be held on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 at Lauderdale Lakes Country Club, N7498 Country Club Dr., Elkhorn, WI, 53121, from 2:00pm-5:00pm.
