James R. Rossen, age 90, of Walworth, WI, and formerly of Fox Lake, IL, passed away on October 1, 2025. He was born in Chicago, IL, on September 25, 1935, the son of the late Randall and Isabel (Simmons) Rossen.  Jim received his undergraduate degree from Carroll University in Waukesha, WI where he endured a lot of teasing about his love of the Chicago Cubs and Bears. After becoming a certified public accountant, he continued his education to earn an MBA from Northwestern University.  On August 12, 1961, Jim married his lifelong companion and love of his life, Joyce (Kienzle) Rossen.  He was a member of Trinity Church in Pell Lake, WI, where he served as a past member of the church council. He also faithfully served as Treasurer at several churches throughout the years. Jim enjoyed golfing, tennis, bridge, bicycling, and traveling—especially to Europe.  Jim will be remembered for his kind smile, which touched everyone who knew him. He carried himself with humility and found his greatest joy in his deep devotion to his family, especially his wife Joyce.

Jim is survived by his wife, Joyce; his children, Jill (Fritz) Klode, Michael (Brenda) Rossen, and Scott (Stacey) Rossen; his grandchildren, Anna (David) Harris, Emily (Mitchell) Steeves, Megan Klode, Mallory (Mike) Eubanks, Maddie Rossen, Brandon (Lindsey) Allwood, and Dakota (Brittany) Bursma; and his great-grandson, Benjamin Klode Harris.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Rossen, and his grandson, Mitchell Rossen.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday October 14, 2025 at 12:00PM at Trinity Church, W775 Geranium Rd. (Geona City) Pell Lake, WI. Visitation will take place from 11:00AM until the time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Church.
