Janet M. Tinman, 64, of Twin Lakes, WI., passed away on June 2nd, 2026, at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington. Janet was born in Chicago, IL., on June 9th, 1961 to her parents, Vincent, and Betty (Fischer) O'Brien. She met the love of her life Samuel Tinman, and married him on March 31st, 1985, in Chicago, IL.
The things to say about Janet can't be summed up in just a couple of sentences. Janet was a very loving woman, she had a huge support system and was loved by many. She was married to her husband Samuel for 34 years, who loved her to death, Samuel would of given her his very last breath. Janet, graduated from college, and went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, she also had two girls, Catherine, and Samantha. Janet gave everything to her girls that she could, no matter if she had nothing left for herself. She was a ray of light, a spit fire, and a wonderful human being. Janet would give the shirt off her back, or the last dollar in her pocket. She was the most amazing mother, grandmother, daughter, wife, and friend anyone could ask for. She had a big heart for anyone who walked by and love many. Janet was not only adored by her daughters, but also her many grandkids. There were lots of funny names for Janet, like; Nalunar, Nana-banana, Old bird, Janitor, Me-maw, Nana, Granny, and Chicken lover. Although she hated these names, we loved them, and lover her reactions to them. Even though she died young, she will still live on in our hearts like she never really left.
Janet is survived by her two daughters; Catherine (David Delgado) Tinman, and Samantha Tinman. Her siblings; Bruce Wayne (Susan) Smith, and Michael O'Brien. She is further survived by her grandkids; Christopher, Sabrina, Juanito, Ruben, Maria, Elizabeth, Christian, Kayla, Emily, Jasmine, Johnny, Zachary, Myles, Hailey, and Allyson, along with her 3 great grandkids.
Janet is preceded in death by her husband Samuel, her parents, and her brother's, Donald, and Patrick O'Brien.
A celebration of life will be held for Janet at a later date. We at Haase-Lockwood & Associates are proud to have served the Tinman Family.
