Janet A. Nettekoven, 71 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on August 31, 2023 at Heartis of Brookfield.  She was born March 9, 1952, the daughter to the late Erwin and Jean (Wenzel) Zastrow. Janet owned and operated Lakeland Bakery for over 30 years with her then husband, Gregory Nettekoven.  She was a very active member of Chapel on the Hill in Lake Geneva, WI and - through this community - dedicated a great deal of her time to Spirit of Hope Men's Homeless Shelter.  Throughout her life she always enjoyed cooking and gardening.  Janet was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

Janet is survived by her two sons, Luke (Jessica) Nettekoven and Anthony (Paula) Nettekoven, four grandchildren, Jackson, Samuel, C.J. and Alina, sister, Linda Cook and niece, Jennifer Cravatta.  She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband, Gregory Nettekoven.
