Jean A Koehn

Jean Agnes Koehn joined her beloved family in Heaven peacefully on July 11, 2026. She was born to Clarence Koehn & Madeline Shepstone Koehn at Nippersink Resort in Randall Township. Jeanie was born, raised and lived her whole life in the Nippersink vicinity. For she and her siblings, Fritz, Carol & Bev, it was home. She is the last of her family to leave its grounds. The end of an era.

Jeanie lived a long and admirable life trying to help as many people as she could along the way. You may have encountered her either while working at Intermatic, Admiral or American Girl, perhaps at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Slades Corners, Adrian’s Custard or bowling at one of the local bowling alleys. She was an accomplished seamstress who made many of her own clothes, always the height of fashion and perfectly accessorized. The color purple dominated her wardrobe. She was all about having fun, she loved to dance and entertain, sharing stories of her travels. Her hands stayed busy, playing golf, in the garden, doing a word search puzzle or knitting something special. Those of us blessed with a pair “Jeanie slippers” will miss those talented hands.

She asked that we leave you with these words: “I love all of you and thank you for all the fun times we’ve shared. I enjoyed them all. Just think of me now & then and all the funny and fun things we did. I will miss all of you too! Thanks for the love we shared. Until we meet again, Jeanie.”

Jeanie is survived by her nieces and nephews. Linda (Craig, deceased) Kastilahn, Pamela (Tom) Perry, Terry (MaryAnn) Cooper, Jerry (Pat) Cooper, Allan ”Barney” (Peri) Koehn Jr., Dianne (Kraig) Richardson and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

She is proceeded into Heaven by her parents, Clarence and Madeline Koehn, her sisters Carol Brunswick and Beverly Cooper, and her brother Allan “Fritz” Koehn Sr. Her faith and her family were most important to her. She will rest beside them at Mound Prairie Cemetery in Twin Lakes. Services will be private. Memorials can be made in her name to Twin Lakes Rescue Squad 236 E Main St  Twin Lakes, WI. 53181.  The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes, WI is honored to serve the Koehn family.
