Jean M. Matheson, 86 of Elkhorn, WI, died Saturday, July 15, 2017 at her home in Elkhorn. She was born October 1, 1930 in WI, the daughter of the late James and Elfrieda (Hartman) Matheson.  Jean worked as a reporter and Journalism professor.  She loved books, cats, jazz music and she was a loyal member of the Democratic party. Jean is survived by her daughter, Jennifer M. Selk of Maine and two grand-kitties, Noah and Erica. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James P. Matheson.
