Jeanette "Jan" M. Ure, 82, of Elkhorn, WI died Thursday February 17, 2022 at her home.  Jan was born May 3, 1939 in Chicago, IL.  She was the daughter of the late Edward and Eva (Becker) Nelson.  On October 1, 1960 Jan was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" W. Ure in Chicago, IL.  Jan worked as a secretary for many years before retiring in 1998 to enjoy doting on her grandchildren.  Jan and Dick enjoyed traveling and going on cruises, and they especially loved spending time with their "Pinochle Gang".  Jan was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her husband of 61 years, Dick, her four children; David (Maria) Ure of Huntley, IL, Mark (Paula) Ure of Palatine, IL, Dean (Mary) Ure of Paola, KS and Jill (Kenneth) Kosirog of Burlington, WI, by thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and by her sister Evelyn (William) Coombs of DesPlaines, IL and by a host of other relatives and friends.  Jan was preceded in death by a sister Irene Johnson and a brother Allen Nelson.  Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Monday February 28, 2022 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church 107 W. Walworth Street Elkhorn, WI with Inurnment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery Elkhorn, WI.  Visitation will be 12:00 PM (Noon) to 3:00 PM Sunday February 27 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 730 N.
