His memory will be carried forward by those who knew him and loved him.
Jeffery L. Ohlrich, of Delavan, Wisconsin, passed away on September 10, 2026, in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He was born on August 18, 1954, in Burlington, Wisconsin.
Jeffery served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany. He served with the Heavy Weapons Infantry as a SP4. In his working life, he was a member of International Association of Machinists Local 1862 of Cudahy, Wisconsin.
He found enjoyment in many simple and lasting pleasures. Jeffery enjoyed golfing, bird watching, and listening to music, and he also did some disc jockey work. These interests reflected a man who appreciated both the outdoors and the companionship and energy that music can bring.
Most of all, Jeffery will be remembered by his family. He is survived by his children, Christine Ahrens and her husband Keith, Jason Ohlrich and his wife Marilu, Tanna Ohlrich and Kyle Ohlrich. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews, each of whom were part of the family circle that brought meaning to his life.
Jeffery is also survived by his siblings, Michael Ohlrich and his wife Lora, Cheryl Zdanek and her husband Thomas, Patrick Ohlrich and his wife Louise, Steven Ohlrich and his wife Sylvia, Clayton Ohlrich and Missy Irwin, Joseph Ohlrich and his wife Victoria and Brad Ohlrich; He will be remembered as well by those in his extended family who shared in his life and memory.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Ohlrich, Dixie Farragher and Stepfather Thomas Farragher and by his sister, Cynthia Rayborn; and by his nephews, Joseph Riley and Nicholas Hall.
A Memorial Gathering for Jeffery will be held on September 16, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory, 620 Legion Dr, Twin Lakes, Wisconsin 53181. Military Honors will take place on Tuesday September 22, 2026 at 3:00PM at Southeastern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.
Jeffery will be remembered with love for his service, his interests, and the family connections that remained central throughout his life. His memory will be carried forward by those who knew him and loved him.
