Jerome R. "Jerry" Cates age 51 of Bassett, WI died Wednesday morning January 14, 2015 at his brother's home in Powers Lake, WI.
Jerome Raymond Cates was born on February 20, 1963 in Burlington, WI the son of James and Joyce Probst Cates. Jerry has been a lifelong resident of Bassett.
He worked as a laborer in the construction trades. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Twin Lakes. He was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan and a Milwaukee Bucks Fan. He enjoyed nature photography, loved to travel and was an artist. His greatest love was his family and was a loving uncle.
Jerry is survived by: His parents-James and Joyce Cates of Bassett, WI.; His significant other-Cheryl Lennon of Bristol, WI; 3 brothers-John of Bassett, WI, Jeff (Paula) of Powers Lake, WI, Joe (Danette) of Salem, WI and 1 sister-Jennifer (Ken) Nardini of Bassett, WI.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM Saturday (MEET AT CHURCH) January 17, 2015 at St. John's Catholic Church in Twin Lakes. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery. The Cates Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00PM Friday at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home. Memorial remembrances may be made to the Cates Family.
