Jerry A. Bishop, 84, of Pell Lake, WI., passed away at his home on Saturday, September 5th, 2026, surrounded by his family, and love. Jerry was born in Pell Lake, WI., on October, 8th, 1941, to his parents, Roscoe, and Helen (Drews) Bishop. Jerry married the love of his life Lynda (Dammeir) Bishop on November 21st, 1970, in Lyons WI.

Jerry was known for his work ethic and sense of humor, but loving his wife, and family were always the most important. Next on his priority list was work, Jerry loved to work, not only to provide for his family, but he loved to work to improve life. He instilled his work ethic not only in his kids, but his grandchildren as well. When Jerry wasn’t working, he volunteered in his community, he loved to coach youth baseball and passed down his love for sports to his family. When Jerry needed some relaxation, he loved his gardens and enjoyed retirement at both Grove Road in Pell Lake and their vacation property at Oly Acres in Necedah WI.

One thing that kept him occupied in retirement was his discovery of dozens of Native Artifacts buried in his front yard. His collection has been featured in magazines and publications all over North America.

If you were a neighbor or friend of Jerry’s, you knew the jokes were lighthearted and you could count on him for a helping hand or one good ear to listen. Also, you could expect a hot card game of Crazy 8’s, Euchre or Solitaire if the Brewers or Bucks weren’t on television. If they were, you could find him in his recliner with one of the many dogs he loved in his life.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Lynda Bishop, his 3 sons; Shane (Tabitha) Bishop, Ryan (Carlene Harp) Bishop, and Justin (Susan) Bishop. Jerry is further survived by his grandkids; Spencer, Tanner, Jasmine, Dayne, Grady, and many favorite nieces and nephews.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his siblings Martin, and Barbara Bishop.
