Joan Y. Schiefelbein, 80 of Elkhorn, WI, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Vintage on the Ponds in Delavan, WI. She was born August 17, 1937 in Janesville, WI, the daughter of the late Clifford and Hazel (Gentz) Martsolf.  Joan was united in marriage in February of 1957 to Clifford H. Schiefelbein in Janesville, WI.  She worked as legal secretary for over 25 years at Security Title Company of Walworth County in Elkhorn retiring in 2000.  Joan was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Elkhorn. She was an avid reader.  Joan enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, traveling and baking.

Joan was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Cliff and son, Daniel Schiefelbein of Elkhorn.  She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy.

Private graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Janesville, WI.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joan's name to Lakeland Animal Shelter P.O.
