Joan Mary Siegler

Joan M. Siegler, age 78, of Elkhorn, WI, died on Thursday, August 20, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Joan was born on June 10, 1948, in Greenfield, WI, the daughter of the late Gerald and Marilyn (Jeffords) Cramer. Joan married Gerald D. Siegler on February 19, 1966. They raised their family and spent a lifetime making cherished memories together until his passing in 2000.

Joan had many interests, including camping, cooking, and baking. She loved visiting the surrounding Amish communities, anything that had to do with the Walworth County Fair, reading books, and her yearly travels to visit and enjoy Door County. She was known for her meticulously decorated house around the holidays and was very hospitable and giving when expecting visitors. Above all, she dearly loved her family with all her heart.

Joan is survived by her children, Michelle (Bill) Goff, Tammie (Mike) Ludtke, Jerry (Marleen) Siegler, Jeff (Tiffany) Siegler, Chris (Rachal) Siegler, and Tricia (Brad) Nelson; grandchildren, Evan Schulte, Logan Schulte, Rya Ludtke, Branden (Brailee Ehlen) Ludtke, Meakena (Nick) Krueger, Wylie Ludtke, Jeremie (Morgan) Siegler, Dakota (Jenna) Siegler, Savannah Siegler, Veronica Siegler, Hailee (Rob) McCain, Dane (Charlie Thompson) Siegler, Dawson (Brandi Curtis) Siegler, Alyssa (Kyle) Marriner, Isabelle (Adam Perez) Street, and Eric Street; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jerilyn Fuchs and Patricia (Craig Brown) Kiefer; and many nieces and nephews.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald; son, Michael Siegler; brothers, Robert and Harold Cramer; sister, Nancy Hardegen; and brothers-in-law, Emmett Hardegen and Tony Fuchs.

A visitation for Joan will be held at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory, 730 N. Wisconsin Street, Elkhorn, WI, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A second visitation will take place at the funeral home the following day, Friday, August 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11:00 a.m.

Overflow parking for the visitations and funeral can be found at Adams Electric, 801 N. Wisconsin Street, Elkhorn, WI. Visitors may park there and take a short walk to the funeral home.
